Will manumitting slaves and devising all his property, both real and personal, to these slaves but then selling the slaves to repay his debts. Holding that this evidence is an exception to the hearsay rule that "justice would seem to require that his declarations, (in this case almost simultaneous with the act), should be admitted to impeach these presumptions of law."
