Short Summary: Dealing with three written contracts between the same parties all dealing with the same tract of land. The third of which also included a mortgage of slaves. The plaintiff contending that the final bil of sale was made for the sole purpose to hinder and defraud the creditors of the seller. The Court concluded that this claim of fraud must depend on parol evidence, for which there is insufficient evidence to conclude that the transaction was fradulent since the testomony of the seller was not contradicted by the two impartial witnesses.
