The daughter is now dead and the appellants are her children contending that they should receive the proceeds ($5000) of the sale of slaves. The court dealth with a subsequent codicil leaving the slaves to the daughter for her life and then to the settlement of her debts (making no mention of her children). Holding that taken together, the will and codicil name no limitations over the residaury clause .
